Celebrate your dad with this easy wood burning Father’s Day project! This is the perfect craft to create with you little’s that will last for years!
I don’t know about you but my Father’s Day seems to be such a difficult holiday to buy for. When you have little’s, they like to be able to participate in the gift-giving and this wood burning Father’s Day project is the perfect DIY for them.
This would be a great scout or church camp project.
You can get each of the above items at Walmart or any craft store in smaller quantities, but I just wanted to show you what you’re looking for in the links above.
Begin by setting up and turning on your wood burning tool. If you need to put on or change the tip, make sure you do so before turning on the unit.
Once it heats up, begin pressing the point tip into the wooden circle, making little dots to form the letter “D”.
Do the same thing for the letter “A” and the remaining “D”.
Shut off your tool and allow to cool.
Add a glue stick to your hot glue gun and turn it on.
Once it’s ready to use, glue the edges of the wood circles together.
Allow to cool.
Turn over and glue a magnet to the back of each circle.
Allow to cool.
