Creating Decor With a Dish Towel
When it comes to creating unique pieces for your home, I want you to go check out the seasonal dish towels and check out this DIY.
You can walk in to almost any store during any holiday season and see some cheap dish towels that match. They’re also cheap enough to get a few so that you can create with a couple.
So next time you’re at Target or Walmart, grab some cute dish towels for your kitchen and grab a couple more so you can do some creating.
The supplies you will need to make this adorable Tea Towel Pillow are:
- Tea Towel
- Stuffing
- Hot Glue Gun
This is probably one of the easiest DIY’s on my blog. I went VERY simple and put this together with hot glue. If you’re a sewer, you can sew it to make it last a little bit longer.
I wasn’t worried since I was only going to use this for one season anyways.
To start, you’re going to want to fold the towel so that print is on the inside. Your fold will be at the top, and the other three edges is where we’re going to apply some hot glue.
You want to make sure that you leave about a 4-5″ opening to finish the project.
Once your glue is dry, turn it right side out and fill with stuffing.
To seal it up, you’re going to want to fold the bottom part and carefully hot glue it shut.
That’s it!
