Your feet guide you into certainty and uncertainty.
These are the feet that have trekked a life of happiness and pain.
These are the feet that wearily walked into a hospital 4 times and birthed children that made me a mom.
These are the feet that danced as a child and floated on air.
These are the feet that walked a cemetery to bury a child.
These are the feet that walked through life without a father that loved her as a father should.
These are the feet that have walked away from relationships that have hurt me and that have stood their ground fighting for relationships I wanted to keep.
These feet walked into many therapists offices proudly and with assurance only to walk out broken and defeated yet slightly healed.
These are the feet that hit the floor every morning to keep up the pace of tough times.
These feet have walked through lots of dirty times.
These feet have walked through amazing times.
I’ve been on my knees looking at these feet that guide me time and time again.
I’ve asked God to guide these feet when I don’t know how to.
I’ve asked God to save me so that I keep putting one foot in front of the other.
These feet will endure pain and happiness because that’s what life brings.
These feet will continue to stumble.
These feet will continue to stand firmly on the ground even when every other part of my body wants to crumble.
These are the feet that GOD placed on this earth to travel my path. No matter how hard or how easy.
Let your feet guide you. Run if you must or tip toe lightly. No matter what the pace – let God lead and Satan will be crushed.
And yes – even on the days life beats you down, the breathe in your lungs still has the ability to give life to your feet.
“The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.” ROMANS 16:20
