Freedom isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s soft, subtle, and woven into your everyday moments. Here’s a fresh way to reflect on freedom this season—and why your creativity plays a part in it.
There’s something about this time of year.
The flags come out.
The sky feels bigger.
And even if you’re not planning a backyard BBQ or lighting fireworks,
something inside you still pauses.
You feel it, right?
That quiet kind of freedom.
The kind that doesn’t need to be loud or flashy to matter.
It might look like sitting on the porch with your favorite drink,
or watching your kids play barefoot in the yard,
or standing in your kitchen—messy bun, paint on your hands—
remembering that this life you’ve built… it’s yours.
That’s the kind of freedom I wanted to honor with this new release.
Not just the kind we wave a flag for once a year.
But the kind we live for—day in and day out.
These little stars and houses?
They’re not just cute décor.
They’re tiny reminders that your everyday life is worth honoring.
That you can create something meaningful—right where you are.
So maybe you paint them with your daughter.
Maybe you give one to a friend who needs a smile.
Or maybe you just tuck them into a cozy corner of your home
to remind you of how far you’ve come.
Whatever you do—
I hope it feels like freedom.
