Teacher Pencil Craft with FREE Pattern Download

Teachers get gifts on the daily sometimes and this Teacher Pencil Craft is something your kiddo can help with and learn at the same time!

As parents, alot of times we tend to take over the gift-giving for teachers. Sure they like things like gift cards, coffee and wine but it’s nice to have something small that came from their student that showcases all they have learned!

This project is perfect for little learners! It helps work on shapes, colors, cutting and counting. It’s the perfect craft to provide encouragement during hand writing and printing lessons.

Grab these supplies and your little can get to creating their own Teacher Pencil Craft:

• Craft Sticks – Four
• Washable Markers – Yellow
• Card Stock or Construction Paper – Kraft Brown, Black, Pink and Grey
• Pencil
• Permanent Marker – fine tip, black
• Liquid Glue with fine tip applicator or Low Temp Glue Gun
• Scissors
• Craft Stick Pencil PATTERNS

Download and print the Craft Stick Pencil Pattern Sheet HERE. 

Trace patterns onto card stock or construction paper and then cut out all shapes with scissors according to the instructions on the pattern sheet.  Attach the pencil point, eraser and metal cuff to the pencil base with liquid glue or a low temp glue gun.

Color four craft sticks with yellow washable marker.  Set aside to dry.

Attach the four yellow craft sticks in a row to the front of the pencil with liquid glue or a low temp glue gun.

Write No. 2, your favorite teacher’s name or your child’s name on the craft stick pencil.

Create a bunch of pencils and fashion a banner or decorate a classroom bulletin board.
