Put a spin on the popular Strawberry Pretzel Dessert by serving them in individual cups. No party is complete without individual servings of desserts.
I don’t know about you, but in my house we love strawberry pretzel salad! We make it at almost every holiday gathering that we have. AND, we typically make two since it goes so fast.
I wanted to create some individual dessert cups with them so that they were easy to serve. This would be for a Mother’s Day treat. There is something about desserts being individualized that makes them a little bit more special.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine chopped strawberries and 1 Tbsp sugar. Mix well until coated. Set aside.
Add pretzels to the bowl of a food processor and blend until you have pretzel crumbs. In a medium bowl combine pretzel crumbs, melted butter and 1 Tbsp sugar. Mix with a fork until pretzel crumbs are moist. Set aside.
Combine cream cheese, ½ cup sugar and vanilla in a medium mixing bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until your mixture is creamy. Add whipped topping and mix until combined.
Add 2 Tbsp pretzel mixture to each cup and press down on mixture with your fingers to create a crust.
Add the cream cheese filling, dividing evenly between the 16 servings (reserve a little to dollop on top of each cup).
Divide strawberries into 16 portions and spoon over each serving.
Add dollop of remaining mixture to each cup (if reserved).
Serve immediately and enjoy the deliciousness!
If you haven’t had the Strawberry Pretzel Dessert yet, you truly are missing out! Once you do, it will forever become a family favorite!
