SIMPLE Pillow Re-vamp!

Decorating for the holidays, does not have to break the bank!  It’s so easy to get caught up in keeping up with the newest, prettiest thing when is actuality, simpler is often times better!  And sometimes, better is prettier in my opinion.

Take these throw pillows!  If you’re like me, you have throw pillows all over your front room and they are mostly used for “jumping over lava” like we ALL did as kids 🙂

I do like to save at least ONE, to keep pretty that I can use when I know company is coming over.  It’s a quick dress-me-up that will make any room look complete.

You can use any pillow covers but I used THESE and they are super cheap.  I love the simplicity of them and they come in multiple colors.  I tend to stay with the natural look just because it works in my decor.  I will probably switch them out with some red covers come Christmas though 🙂

Get some fancy holiday themed ribbon.  And guess what?  All you do it take a couple strands and make some fancy bows?  And let me tell you – they’re not hard to do!  These really are just regular bows like when you tie your shoes.  On the first pic, I just used two strands of ribbon.  And on the Halloween one, I just hot-glued a black glitter spider.  DONE!!  How simple and cheap is that!!
