There is no shortage of Halloween crafts for kids, but this Painted Rock Bat is a Halloween project that they’re going to LOVE!
If you’re a fan of Halloween you land in one of two groups. You’re either someone who loves the cute decorations and costumes or one who love the gore and scary.
Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE a good haunted house, but when it comes to decorations and crafts, I LOVE cute!
This Painted Rock Bat is the perfect project for kid and adult alike.
Paint the entire rock black (tip: place a bit of putty on the back of the rock to stick it to your craft surface while painting).
Seal with a coat of Mod Podge (optional).
Allow to completely dry.
Cut fang shapes out of white paper, glue to the front bottom of the rock.
Glue the googly eyes to the front center of the rock.
Cut wing shapes out of black paper, glue to the back of the rock.
Glue a magnet to the back off the rock.
This is the perfect project for any kids groups you need a craft for. Whether you are an elementary school teacher of a Sunday school teacher, this is a craft that all of the kids will love taking home.
