Creating your own Land That I Love 4th of July Craft is quick and easy with this simple tutorial! Grab your girlfriends and create one of your own.
Getting together with friends and creating things for your home or the holidays is a hot thing!! That’s why I created Craft Club! It’s a subscription box that it delivered to your door every month with all of the supplies to create a new project every month! I take all of the guesswork out of planning and designing and lets you get to the fun part – CREATING!
If you are a part of Craft Club – YEAH!!! It’s a super fun group to be a part of. If not, you can still use this tutorial to create your own craft – you’ll just have to supply everything on your own.
First, you’re going to want to paint your block. You only need to paint the front and sides unless you are using it in the middle of a table – then you’ll want to paint all sides.
If you received the pieces in your craft box, then the wooden block is already sanded. If not, make sure you smooth the surface so the paint adheres nicely.
When your paint is dry, you can apply the vinyl. If you are doing this on your own and don’t have access to a vinyl cutter, you can use stencil lettering.
Place “land that I” along the top part of the wooden block and “love” towards the bottom.
Taking your thick ribbon, hot glue to the back and wrap around to the front.
Taking your small ribbon or twine, wrap around and tie into a bow in the front.
I think it’s absolutely adorable and can be used for Memorial Day and Labor Day as well.
If you want to see a video of how to create your own, here is the segment I did for a local news channel.
This is a perfect project for beginners or advanced crafters alike. If you want to know more about Craft Club and how you can join in and get fun-filled boxes every month, check it out HERE!
