Make these super cute calendar magnets with supplies from your local dollar store! For just a few dollars, you can make dozens of magnets to decorate your refrigerator.
The Dollar Tree calendars are all the rage this time of year and for those of you that were able to snag these, I’ve put together a fun project for you!
Using the paint brush, apply a small amount of wood glue to the side of one of the tumbling tower blocks.
Set another block against the glued edge, and hold together for about 30 seconds.
Repeat steps 1 and 2, so that you have 3 blocks glued together.
Cut the images out from the back of the calendar. If needed, trim to the size of the 3 blocks that you glued together.
Using the foam brush, apply a thin layer of Mod Podge to one side of the glued blocks, then set a calendar image on it. Then apply a thin layer of Mod Podge over the image. Set aside to dry.
Cut the magnet strips into 3 pieces.
Once all image covered blocks are dry, attach a magnet strip to the back of each image covered block.
I just adore these Jenga Block Calendar Magnets!
Cheap and easy which makes it a successful DIY in my book!! This project is perfect for little hands too 🙂
Here’s an image for you to PIN to your favorite Pinterest board so you can share it with all your friends and always have easy access to it! If you’re not following me over on Pinterest, hop over and see what I have going on!
