Kick your traditional cheese ball up a notch with this Easy Bacon Jalapeno Cheese Ball that is sure to please at any gathering!
Cheese balls have been a staple party dish for as long as I can remember. I love then, but I like having something that is a little out of the ordinary too.
This Easy Bacon Jalapeno Cheese Ball adds the perfect amount of heat for something a little different while still being a dish that everyone can enjoy.
Gather all of your ingredients and seed and chop the jalapeno. The seeds are where the heat is carried in jalapenos. Washing them and seeding them will remove the majority of the heat. If you want more heat, leave some of the seeds in the dish.
In a large mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese, half of the chopped jalapenos, half of the pecans, cheddar cheese, half of the bacon, seasonings, and Worcestershire sauce until completely blended.
Mix the remaining jalapenos, pecans, and bacon. Set aside.
Using plastic wrap, shape the cheese mixture into a ball. Transfer to a serving plate.
Press the remaining jalapeno mixture into the sides.
Refrigerate at least one hour prior to serving.
Serve with crackers or vegetable dippers.
