Little things can lead to big impact. Even ants prove it!
You probably don’t think much about ants.
Most of us just try not to step on them.
But these tiny workers actually carry BIG wisdom—so much so that Proverbs tells us to pay attention to their ways.
“Go to the ant, O sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise.” — Proverbs 6:6
If God included ants in His Word, there’s a reason.
So let’s dig into what they can teach us:
🐜 1️⃣ Diligence Over Drama
Ants work consistently, even when no one is watching.
Your creative work matters—even if it’s small. Even if no one sees it.
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart.” (Colossians 3:23)
🐜 2️⃣ Prepare in the Good Seasons
Ants gather food in the summer to survive the winter.
Don’t wait until you feel motivated. Build rhythms and plans while you can.
“The plans of the diligent lead to abundance.” (Proverbs 21:5)
🐜 3️⃣ Lean Into Community
Ants accomplish things together that they could never do alone.
You weren’t made to create—or live—in isolation.
“Two are better than one.” (Ecclesiastes 4:9)
🐜 4️⃣ Keep Going, Even When Blocked
Ants always find another way.
When creativity feels stuck, shift the path—but stay faithful.
“Let us not grow weary of doing good.” (Galatians 6:9)
🐜 5️⃣ Small is Still Strong
Ants may be tiny, but they can carry loads much heavier than themselves.
Don’t despise small beginnings or small actions. They add up.
“Do not despise these small beginnings.” (Zechariah 4:10)
