If you are a fan of Gingerbread and you’ve never had Starbucks Gingerbread then you must try some! And just because I love all of you, I’ve created a copycat recipe that tastes JUST like Starbucks!
Gingerbread Ingredients:
Frosting Ingredients:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and prep loaf pan with nonstick spray.
Add butter and sugar to an electric mixer. Cream them together until fluffy. Add the vanilla and egg. Beat to combine. Add the applesauce. Blend with the other ingredients.
Add the flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. Mix to combine.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes. (Or until the bread has risen and an inserted toothpick comes out clean)
Set aside the loaf on the wire rack to cool completely.
Add the cream cheese and vanilla to the bowl of the electric mixer. Beat until combined. Add 1 1/2 cups of powdered sugar. Continue to beat until the combination is smooth and creamy. (If necessary add more sugar to thicken the frosting.)
Using an offset spatula spread a thick layer of the frosting over the gingerbread loaf.
Garnish with gingerbread man sprinkles, slice and serve.
ENJOY!

Can you divide it into mini pans ?
Yes!!!! That would work perfectly! They just wouldn’t bake quite as long.
