Dress up your boring Rice Krispie treats with these FUN and EASY Spring Rice Krispie Pops! Your kids will fall in love with them.
Here at The Ruffled Daisy, I love being able to bring you recipes and DIY’s that are EASY and don’t take a lot of thought on your part. The easiest DIY’s to create for you are ones that simply put a little spin on an old favorite. Just packing it up or changing something little in the recipe makes a NEW favorite!
I came across some Spring Rice Krispie cereal and thought it would be fun to make some Spring Rice Krispie Pops for you!
Make Rice Krispie treats according to package directions. Press out into a single layer roughly 1 inch thick.
Using a cookie or biscuit cutter, cut out individual lollipop shapes.
Insert one lollipop stick into the side of each cutout.
Melt your almond bark and tint with your gel food coloring. You want to make sure that you use the gel food coloring so the consistency of the almond bark doesn’t change. Liquid food coloring will not work.
The good news is that you can find the gel food coloring at Walmart or Target now!
Holding your lollipop sticks, dip half of the Spring Rice Krispie pop into the almond bark to coat.
Lay on wax paper. Sprinkle with some Sixlets and cool to let harden.
I just think they’re beautiful!! Of course, Spring has ALL my favorite colors so I am a little biased. These went SO FAST in my house! My kiddos LOVED the combination of the almond bark and the Rice Krispies.
Do you have an event coming up for these would be perfect for? Or how about JUST BECAUSE! Your kiddos will thank you. I’d love for you to share it with your friends on social media and PIN it so you have it for later!
