Decorating with leaves can be fun and creative and this Glittery Paper Leaf DIY is going to be perfect to add a little glam to your decor!
If you’ve been around here long enough, you know I am a HUGE fan of glitter! I know there are lots of people who despise it but I think it takes every project up a notch! This Glittery Leaf DIY is perfect for adults and kids to craft together!
Draw a maple leaf into the book pages and cut it. You can download an image from the internet to trace if you don’t think you can freehand it.
Use glue to paste the cut leaf into a folder and cut. I just used a scrap folder but you could also use an old cereal box. Anything to make it a sturdier.
Trace a smaller leaf inside the leaf.
Add glue to the outside edge of the traced leaf. You may want to use a paint brush to fill in the edge with glue.
Now the FUN part – add the glitter.
You’re almost there! Use the glue gun to stick the hemp rope at the back of the leaf for you to be able to hang the craft. If you have a hole punch, you can punch a hole to hang it.
What do you think? Do you think you’re going to add this Glittery Paper Leaf to your list of crafting projects?
The pink one has me with ALL the heart eyes!
