Welcome to The Ruffled Daisy! If you’re a woman who wants it all and is done with settling for less, then you’re in the right spot! After your “visits” with me, I hope that you leave supported, empowered, inspired, and connected. My mission is to empower all women to create beauty in their lives. There are so many areas that you have the power to create beauty amidst all the chaos, you just have to slow down and see where your beauty lies and it’s my aim to help you do just that.
“I believe in a world fueled by creativity and passion!”
“I believe in self-expression, self-love and self-responsibility. I know FOR SURE that life is what you make it!”
YOU are able to have a magnificent life! Living a wholehearted life means bringing ALL of yourself to the table. Feeling the sweet relief of owning your contradictions, your vulnerable bits, and your uniqueness. Creating beauty in your personal life is about the unfolding of the “real” you. On a daily basis, you are peeling away the layers of who you are. I’ll share my process of creating my personal beauty to show that you are not alone.
Along the way, we’ll create beauty in our personal life, home, and relationships!
I’ve been blessed to be able to share my passion for all things decorating and entertaining with people like you! People who like to DIY for themselves but need a little guidance along the way. I’ve been a creator of sorts for as long as I can remember.
As a child, I remember sitting in my grandmother’s basement and working on ceramics, painting and watching her pour molds and putting them in the kiln. It is an amazing process that I have since grown to appreciate. Other memories are of my dear mother and I crafting ALL THE TIME – painting, cross stitching, wood projects, gardening, you name it. Remember puffy paint on shirts?! YEP….we did that! Good thing we’ve grown past that awkward 80’s fashion/decorating phase though!
The Ruffled Daisy started November of 2010 and has grown by leaps and bounds since then! It’s been a long process of learning the balance of running business out of my home while still managing a house with kids! Some days are still hard. Those are the days I put The Ruffled Daisy “aside” and focus on my family’s needs. Having a creative mind makes it almost impossible to stop imagining where “The Ruffled Daisy” can go in the future. I have many things that I am planning on bringing to fruition in the near future and I can’t wait to share them with you!
I would LOVE to support you on the process of “creating beauty in your life”! If you’re ready to move forward BODLY, JOYFULLY and with CLARITY around what you want – then you’ve found your home!
